The Recreation Department is taking the lead in a city-wide effort to promote the Three R's: Reduce - Reuse - Recycle  amongst citizens, City departments and businesses.  In addition to educating folks of the benefits of recycling, we will be  providing and coordinating expanded recycling opportunities.  The David R. Schechter Community Center, 1089 South Patrick Drive, will serve as a stage for community recycling efforts.  Included in each Beachcaster, Recreation Activity Brochure, and on the City's website will be listings of recycling opportunities in and about our Beachside Communities.  Click here to obtain the list.

As a citizen:  ● Support the various Three R’s opportunities  ● Let us know of any recycling methods you use so we can share this information ● Encourage neighbors to participate

As a Business, Church, School or Organization:  ● Let us know if you offer a recycling program that is open to the public, such as collecting blankets for injured animals ● In some cases, we can include a space at our DRS Recycling Center to support your efforts ● Let us know if your business recycles anything and we can acknowledge your efforts!
